It is about 1.5 miles as the crow flies, from The Estates at Bay Colony. Bay Colony is a gated community of close to one thousand residential units comprising high-rise towers, villas, 65 private homes and a few ultra-luxury estate homes located directly on the beach in an area called, The Strand. Bay Colony has its own private Beach Club, Private Tennis Club and is the home to Signature Services, a personalized concierge service available to residents. Bay Colony is, undeniably, the gem of Pelican Bay-private, upscale and a lifestyle community that Naples values as one of its most prestigious neighborhoods.

Although The Estates at Bay Colony Golf Club has a golf facility surrounding its neighborhood, this private quarter of Bay Colony is definitely not a golf course community in the traditional sense. Security
The Estates at Bay Colony Golf Club has security 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Although Naples has a relatively low crime rate in comparison to other parts of Florida, robberies in Naples, and even in other gated communities, have been on the rise. Naturally, law enforcement would always be called first. But in today's world of crime and terrorism, residents find it reassuring that our security team is prepared to act decisively in the event of a life-threatening incident. Each Rover and Guard is trained in investigative patrol-reporting techniques that far exceed State of Florida requirements. In fact, these standards more closely approach what a law enforcement officer would have to pass in the course of their training.

Entrance to The Estates at Bay Colony Golf Club is controlled by a manned security checkpoint whose computer system is networked to share information in real time with other key checkpoints. Unless one appears on a resident's permanent list of friends or tradesmen, access is denied until the resident can be reached by telephone to approve entry. Otherwise, people simply don't get into The Estates!

Keeping our residents screened from prying eyes and the casually curious is one of our paramount concerns. Even residents of Bay Colony do not have access to the premises unless they are members of The Bay Colony Golf Club. There are future plans to upgrade security to an even higher level as circumstances warrant.

In addition, our security personnel are trained in emergency medicine. Each security officer is certified as an "AED/CPR Heart Saver". The rover vehicle that patrols the premises 24 hours a day is equipped with medical emergency equipment including a heart defibrillator, oxygen, bandages, etc. Although not intended to replace the Collier County EMS, those extra few minutes saved while waiting for EMS to arrive at a resident's home, or out on the golf course, can make a critical difference.

New Pelican Marsh Community Center
This fabulous facility was completed in 2006 fully furnished and equipped at no cost to the residents! There was enough money in the Capital Funds account to avoid any special assessments to the residents. The greatly expanded new Community Center offers wonderful programs with substantially more space than the original 6,000 square foot facility.

Bay Colony Tennis Club & Pelican Marsh Tennis
Residents have two superb tennis facilities at their disposal. The Tennis Center at Pelican Marsh is a mere 650 yards from The Estates at Bay Colony gate house. There are 9 lighted, clay courts to accommodate even those fanatics who can't get enough during the day. Professional programs for children and adults, from beginners to the advanced. Private lessons are also available. The Bay Colony Tennis Club is located just across from the private Bay Colony Beach Club, residents have another fantastic tennis choice, complete with six beautifully maintained clay courts, Pro Shop and great programs. While some family members bask on the beach, others can get a great workout or lessons from the USTPA Director of Tennis.
